Welcome to Peace Lutheran Church. The word “peace” has the meaning of the absence of the conflict in our society. But in the Bible, especially the Old Testament, the word Peace is directly related to the Hebrew word Shalom and it means complete well-being, that is unity with God and with others. This is the promise of the Gospel. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection God promises to bring us into unity with Him and with others. Through Jesus, God reaches out to us and brings us into relationship with Him on the basis only of God’s unconditional love. And in Jesus we are called to be vessels of God’s Shalom in the midst of our world; to reach out to others and to welcome all into our midst. Peace Lutheran strives to respond to this call of God’s. You will find at Peace a place of worship and acceptance and of activity. Please know that you are very welcome and please do not hesitate to contact the church or me directly if we can be of any assistance to you. May God bless you with His presence and may God grant to you an experience of Shalom in the midst of your lives.
